They would have to suffer it. Can you imagine on a space walk and an astronaut 's nose started to itch - he most certainly not going to take his helmet off nor smash his visor into a craft just to scratch. The early Mercury astronaut had to urinate in their suits, the Gemini astronauts did not fair any better and the Apollo astronauts had to wear pissy diapers which they could not change. Yes they suffered minor indignities and itches but hell that's what Heroes do
